Latest Recipient

Our first recipient of 2019 was Amethyst Place (specifically the EnCompass program). The Mission of Amethyst Place is to support women recovering from drug and alcohol addiction and their children by providing safe, drug-free housing and individualized services to promote healthy families. EnCompass is a mentoring program for moms living at Amethyst Place. Mentor pairs, two women who are already friends, are an essential modeling tool, showing how friendships based on mutual respect can grow, change and be sustained over time.
