100+ Women Who Care KC is a group of women who are interested in supporting our local community in the Kansas City Metro Area by contributing to local charities together as a unit to increase the impact.

100 women + 100 dollars + 1 hour = $10,000 in lives changed for one local organization

We’re looking for at least 100 women to commit to our group.  Commitment involves attending four (one per quarter), one hour meetings a year and pledging $100 per meeting for a total of $400 per year.

At each meeting three members of the group are chosen at random and given the opportunity to present a 5 minute explanation of a local organization or agency in need.  There is a question and answer session after each presentation.  At the end of all three presentations, each member in attendance gets to vote on the organization they believe is the most deserving of the groups’ donations.

The votes are counted at the end of each meeting and the winner is immediately announced at which time each of the 100+ women writes a check to the winning agency.  The chosen agency or organization then receives at least $10,000!

At the following meeting the winning organization tells us how the money was used and what impact it had to the community and the organization.

Together, in an hour or less, we can significantly impact the many local organizations and agencies devoted to improving lives in the Kansas City Metro.

Not only does 100+ Women Who Care KC give you a unique opportunity to make a real impact with only a commitment of one hour four times a year, but you will also get a chance to meet at least 100 new women, all with a desire for generosity.  Before each meeting we have an optional social gathering to allow members to network, learn about each other and hopefully make new friends.  Please come and join us today!
